During your consultation, the vet will start by reviewing the details you shared in your booking form. From there, the vet will offer tailored advice, share practical care tips, and guide you on the best next steps — including when an in-clinic visit may be recommended.
No, prescriptions can only be provided by a veterinarian you see in person.
Our vets can, however, help you understand if your dog might benefit from medication, explain what an in-clinic vet may recommend before prescribing, and give you an idea of possible costs. If needed, we’ll also guide you toward finding a local vet for further care.
No, medical records aren’t required to book a video call. The more background you can share, the better, but it’s completely optional. Our vets will guide you during the consultation using the information you provide in real time.
An online consultation gives you direct access to trusted veterinary advice without the stress of leaving home. Our vets take the time to answer your questions and can guide you on your cat’s health, nutrition, behavior, and other non-urgent concerns.
We’ll also help you understand if your cat’s situation might need an in-person visit, and how quickly you should seek care. If you don’t already have a clinic, we can even suggest how to find a local veterinarian nearby.
Our vets can’t perform physical exams, make official diagnoses, or prescribe medication. What they can do is give you trusted advice on your cat’s health, nutrition, behavior, and other non-urgent concerns and help you create a clear action plan for the next steps.

The above is not an exhaustive list. In the event of an emergency, your pet needs to be seen in person. A telehealth session can be helpful in many cases, but it is not a substitute for visiting an in-person vet hospital.
